These are photos from the I-Con 19 Sci-Fi Convention in Stony Brook, Long Island - New York on April 1st, 2000. I was there is my Colonial Warrior outfit, handing out flyers, and getting some folks for the email list. I was hanging out by Sci-Fi artist Tye Bourdony's - (TheLighterSide@Mindspring.com) table and next to Darth Vader and some Storm Troopers. Various Sci-Fi Guests were there including Julie Caitlin Brown (Babylon 5), Mark Shepherd (DS9), and many others.

The real attraction at the show were Battlestar Galactica guests Richard Hatch (Apollo) and Jack Stauffer (Bojay). They were there signing autographs and speaking to the attendees. They also debuted the Battlestar Galactica : Second Coming trailer for the 1st time in the New York area. It was very exciting and the trailer got a 5 minute standing ovation from the packed auditorium. Things seem to still be progressing with the project, though the rights seem to still be tied up with Universal and StudiosUSA. I also met and talked with Mark Haynes - (Realm_Press@hotmail.com) and James A. Kuhoric from Realm Press. They have managed to keep the Battlestar Galactica Comics series alive and I got to see some of the new issues being released in April.
