Michael Faries (webmaster@battlestargalactica.com) from BattlestarGalactica.com, sent along a message on January 10th, 2001, that the Sci-Fi Channel (U.S.) has recently considered bringing back "Battlestar Galactica." and they may be proceeding with a new production effort at this time with NO battlestar and NO involvement from Richard Hatch nor Glen A. Larson. This rumor seemed to be confirmed by the Sci-fi Channel on the Sci-Fi Wire (owned by Sci-Fi Channel) website on January 26th. This news article disappeared mysteriously on January 27th, without explanation. This confirmation was then retracted on January 30th, and we are awaiting further information. Other news services such as Aint-it-cool-news (1/17/01), Dark Horizons (1/19/01), and SFX (UK) (1/23/01) had picked up on the story prior to those announcements, so we may get some support from those sites. Richard "Apollo" Hatch and Jack "Bojay" Stauffer have posted their opinions.

The Convention Photos section features digital photos from a variety of recent conventions. The latest Convention Photos on Page 10, are from the Vulkon Science Fiction Convention in Orlando from November 17-19, 2000 and the Creation Sci-Fi Convention that took place on Long Island, New York on December 10th and 11th, 2000. There are also Video Clips from the Vulkon show available in multiple formats and sizes on Video Files Page 1. There are also photos from The Main Mission: 2000, DragonCon 2000, DragonCon 1999, I-Con 19, Creation Sci-Fi Conventions (10/99 & 3/00), Northeast SuperCon, Sci-Fi Expo, and the GoMainLine Convention. The GoMainLine Convention was the biggest Battlestar Galactica event ever and featured Richard Hatch (Apollo), Dirk Benedict (Starbuck), John Colicos (Baltar), Herb Jefferson Jr. (Boomer), Anne Lockhart (Sheba), and Jack Stauffer (Bojay).
